The concept aimed to bring a small bar vibe to the suburbs but have alocal-watering-hole feeling. The inspiration was three-fold, a neighbourhoodbar, an italian-pizza-bar vibe and a slightly art deco aesthetic. We wanted the space to primarily look and feel like a bar, an informal setting, where every spot has its own type of comfortable. Pizza is tucked in the back corner, a nodd to old no-fuss pizza restaurants, with a chef’s table/prep benchin front. You can order pizza, but if you don’t, that is okay.
