An izakaya/ restaurant in a heritage-listed building on Currie Street, Adelaide. The project is an insertion within its historic setting, recessive, natural, grounded but low-intervention, not wasteful, the fit-out is fabric, timber, wool and steel. The space is minimal and serene, light and expansive, sympathetic to and embracing its context.

High endcasual sushi restaurant. Minimal, natural, restrained and clean. A playlist wasprovided of 80s Japanese pop, Hiroshi Nagai, best known for his cover art onrecord jackets for Japanese city pop albums in the 1980s the main source ofinspiration. This was the mood the clients wanted in the space, the feeling of being transported to that space and time. Budget was also key on this project, acheived for a low price, this fit-out was designed to be minimal impact and sort of a permanent 'pop-up' venue.
